Why do I feel at home in New York City? Why did I join Ceres Gallery long ago? Why have I stayed in this GALLERY which is in this CITY all these years? Is NYC my “ancestral ground” because my father was born there? Is it that I always feel “fed” by the city? Is it because I feel the pulse of creativity on the street, on the walls, on the bodies, in the theater, in the art galleries?
Is this worth it? Being SEEN, UNDERSTOOD through my “way” and my work… Yes, of course. The serious conversations with peers, with young artists and seasoned deep thinking art sophisticates are worth every bit. '“From the inside of me to the inside of you.”
